A vacuum chamber designed for use in shearography nondestructive evaluation of aerospace components is presented. The inspection of an aerospace insulation is used
as an example of vacuum excitation shearography for evaluation of debonds. Design drawings of subcomponents and the assembly are included in an appendix.
